About Me

Hi, my name is Ron and I’m a lifelong artist, film and game enthusiast.

Watching Jurassic Park was a turning point in my life - fully convincing, living, breathing dinosaurs were brought to life and changed my world overnight. In 2000, I furthered my education to study animation full-time so that one day I can break into the industry hoping to entertain audiences the same.

Upon graduating in 2004, I began my long awaited animation career working in GameDev as an animator. Then in 2008, I was able to fulfill that lifelong dream spending seven years at DreamWorks Animation - with five of those years exploring Norse mythology animating living, breathing dragons in the How To Train Your Dragon series. Shortly thereafter, I continued my Norse path and returned to where I started (in GameDev) joining the amazingly talented team at Sony Santa Monica developing the reboot/sequel to God of War.

In 2018, I continued my GameDev journey, this time at Riot games (in R&D) helping to develop Legends of Runeterra (a digital card game) - where I’ve directed animation and managed teams developing both cinematic and gameplay content. I’m currently back in R&D working on Project L - Riot’s first foray into the fighting game genre.

When i’m not working, I’m a proud papa who loves spending time with my family, traveling, playing board games, and, Magic The Gathering.
